Student Book:In Waldorf Schools Recorder or Choroi Flute Playing is part of everyday life in school. Singing and flute playing floats through the whole school day. In Grade three, recorders are often introduced, after two years of Choroi pentatonic flutes are learned and played. Some continue with Choroi.  Many introduce the early instrument of the recorder.  Teachers who are not experienced with recorders now have a systematic way to introduce these wonderful instruments with a body of music to help with practice and the playing of familiar songs. The whole series covers recorder playing from grade three through grade eight. This book just gets us started!
